Gizmo is a four-piece indie rock outfit based out of Charlottetown, PEI. Drawing influence from 90’s lo-fi/slacker rock, Gizmo started as a COVID-19 quarantine songwriting project and eventually formed as a group in 2021. Since then, the group have played numerous shows around their hometown as well as embarking on country-wide tours. Their debut EP titled "Buddy System" was released in August of 2023, which consists of four songs that display the group's crunchy power pop guitars with slacker rock sensibility, all reeled in with razor sharp hooks. Gizmo continue to make a name for themselves in the Canadian underground indie rock scene, as well as continue to put on their energetic, roaring, and electrifying live performances.
