Amy Grant is a singer/songwriter from Queens County, NS and has been performing covers, along with her own original music locally with bands and as a soloist for most of her adult life. A former member of the Nova Scotia Mass Choir, Amy also performs with her brother, Tim Whynot, daughter, Mandi Himmelman, and son, Luke Grant in their family band, It’s All Relative.
Amy has an appreciation for all genres of music and describes her songwriting as being a roots-folk-country type of style with hints of gospel and bluegrass. In 2016 she recorded her debut album, This Time Around, which receives radio play within NS. She has been writing new material since the album’s release with the hopes of releasing a second album sometime in the future. Her debut single, This Time Around, is set to be released in February, 2025 on streaming platforms.
